Refugee Action at Lafayette College

Lafayette College is a member of the Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR). Taking the ECAR initiative even further, Lafayette Refugee Action provides ongoing support to local refugee resettlement agencies, educates Lafayette College students and community about the struggles that refugees face and encourages members to take action.

In the coming months, Lafayette will be hosting several speakers to share more personal refugee stories through a variety of medias including musical instruments and self-produced documentaries. They have selected Soufra to be one of those personal stories shared and will use the screening as a platform for a community gathering, serving food as well.

An event made possible with the support of IA Department, WGSS, IA Club, Kaleidoscope, Grossman House, McKelvy House, and Dyer Center.

If you're interested in getting involved, connect with the RefAct here: refact@lafayette.edu.
